Rebates and incentives
BC Hydro and FortisBC run incentive programs for qualifying lighting in BC. BC Hydro also keeps a list of approved EV chargers. Where a Sakura product qualifies, we show it as eligible, see program, and link you to the official program.
DLC listed lighting
Most qualifying lighting products must be DLC listed.
BC Hydro: the Business Energy Saving Incentives program covers qualifying lighting. Pre approval is required before you buy or install. BC Hydro sets the amount for each project. You can also search the BC Hydro e.Catalog.
FortisBC: commercial lighting rebates. Most products must be DLC or ENERGY STAR listed. Apply within 365 days of purchase or install. Rebates are paid to the account holder.
Approved EV chargers
Chargers must be new, bought in Canada (not leased), Level 2 at 208 or 240V, J1772 or NACS J3400, certified for Canada, and permanently installed.
